So this is the new year.
And i don't feel any different.
The clanking of crystal
Explosions off in the distance.
So this is the new year
And I have no resolutions
For self assigned penance
For problems with easy solutions
So everybody put your best suit or dress on
Let's make believe that we are wealthy for just this once
Lighting firecrackers off on the front lawn
As thirty dialogs bleed into one
I wish the world was flat like the old days
Then i could travel just by folding a map
No more airplanes, or speed trains, or freeways
There'd be no distance that could hold us back.

Didn't you post those same lyrics last year? :) I think your resolution should be to not do duplicate posts. :)
(Not to belittle your new-year's angst; I think it's legitimate.)
To use the parlance of our times.... "pwnd".
Even with all the smiley faces.
i think we all need to be reminded of death cab lyrics from time to time. i need to find the one about how much LA sucks . . .
I like the one about the "glove compartment" being "inaccurately named". I agree - In may car it would definitely be called "Small compartment overflowing with TACO BELL mild sauce packets."
Why do I always say "yes, mild please" when they ask "do you need any sauce?" I know deep down that I have too many but i just can't say NO!!!

HA HA! Oh Pammy, I love that you're my sister.
My glove compartment is boring.
By the way... what is the freezing temperature of Taco Bell sauce anyway? Ever had any issues up in icy AK?
Yeah yeah....I didn't realize it. I just feel the same every year. Maybe I should have put up the lyrics of Tommarrow I'll Be You by Thursday for you ungrateful bastards. And for the Steve the song you seek is in another castle... ("Why You'd Want To Live Here" off the album "The Photo Album")
I started my masters classes so I'll try to get a new post up in the next couple days so hold tight london.
